  Mandates

The three entities that make up the Société de développement du Témiscamingue are not public organizations but rather independent, not-for-profit corporations delivering public services.

The Société de développement du Témiscamingue (SDT) creates synergies between the CLDT, the CFDCT and local organizations and businesses. The SDT carries out additional mandates that are considered critical for reaching socio-economic development targets.

The Centre local de développement du Témiscamingue (CLDT) receives economic development and entrepre-neurship assistance mandates from the MRC de Témiscamingue and the depart-ment of Economic Development, Innova-tion and Exportation of Quebec.

The Société d’aide au développement des collectivités (SADCT) receives mandates from the Canada Economic Development Agency. The mandates are structured according to two themes: services to businesses—including access to funding—and community services.
